Have knowledge, expertise and experience in a specific area which will help the charity to function more effectively;

Wish to support HSK but do not want, or are not able, to become a trustee due to limited time available;

Advise, guide and keep the charity up to date and informed

Why we need advisers

Each adviser will have a named person to link and work with. Advisers will be supported by a link staff member and will contribute remotely or be assigned to a sub-committee of the Board to give advice to its members. The Chair/Senior Management Team will meet with Advisers as and when required.

Advisers can be invited to attend the relevant parts of board meetings or committee meetings in an advisory capacity but this is a predominantly a remote role.
