Quality Assurance

As part of our commitment to legal, open, honest and respectful fundraising we are proud to be a member of the Fundraising Regulator.

At the end of this year, we will be re-applying for continued approved status with the Kirklees Volunteering Quality Award. The award recognises that we value our volunteers and provide them with high-quality experiences and quality practice standards. When re-awarded the quality status will be valid for a further 3 years to December 2027.

We are also pleased to hold the Level 2 in ‘Quality for Health’, assessed through Voluntary Action Calderdale/West Yorkshire & Harrogate Integrated Care Partnership.

The award provides evidence that Home-Start Kirklees is well-managed, delivering high quality services and that the outcomes achieved are driven by needs of families in the community. This award was originally gained in November 2019 and has been reassessed and renewed in November 2022. It is valid for 3 years.

In March 2018 during our last Home-Start UK Quality Assurance assessment we gained ‘outstanding’ status.

We have worked very hard to maintain this standard and are currently being re-assessed under a new assessment framework.
